What is Biology?
Biology is the natural science that involves the study of life and living organisms, including their physical and chemical structure, function, development and evolution.
It is divided into 2 broad categories.
1. BOTANY
Botany, also called plant science, plant biology or phytology, is the science of plant life and a branch of biology. Theophrastus is known as Father of Botany
 2. ZOOLOGY
Zoology or animal biology is the branch of biology that studies the animal kingdom, including the structure, embryology, evolution, classification, habits, and distribution of all animals, both living and extinct, and how they interact with their ecosystems. Aristotle is known as Father of Zoology
